Required background

You must hold a master's-level or doctoral qualification in Chemistry or a closely related subject. Deep expertise in at least one of organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry is required.

Comfort working with Python or computational tools such as Gaussian, VASP, or equivalents is essential. The role also requires careful technical review, strong English writing, and dependable independent work; prior AI experience is unnecessary.

Helpful experience

Annotation, data quality, or AI training work is useful. Cheminformatics, molecular modeling software, academic research, scientific publishing, peer review, and explaining chemistry to nonspecialists are relevant backgrounds.

Terms

This hourly contract is fully remote and flexible, with a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours. Further projects may provide continued assignments or contract extension.
