JavaScript evaluation

Assess AI-generated JavaScript and provide reliable implementations that demonstrate strong engineering practices. Tasks range from routine utility functions to complex asynchronous logic.

• Review code for correctness, efficiency, and modern ES6+ conventions.
• Write clear, maintainable solutions across different levels of difficulty.
• Identify bugs, unusual inputs, and failure conditions in web and backend code.
• Explain code behavior and problem-solving methods in readable language.
• Provide detailed feedback that helps models generate more dependable implementations.

Required skills

You need deep familiarity with async/await, closures, prototypal inheritance, DOM manipulation, and other core JavaScript concepts. At least three years of hands-on experience with React, Node.js, Vue, or similar technologies is required.

A careful approach to code quality and clear written technical reasoning are essential. A Computer Science or related degree is preferred, while demonstrated engineering experience carries the most weight.

Helpful background

Data labeling, RLHF, and AI training experience are useful. TypeScript, Webpack, Vite, ESLint, code review, technical writing, software quality assurance, and work across frontend and backend JavaScript are relevant backgrounds.

Contract terms

The engagement is a fully remote hourly contract for 10 to 40 hours weekly, with flexible asynchronous assignments. Training and onboarding support are provided, so previous AI experience is not required.

Additional projects may offer continued work or contract extension.

Assignments contribute directly to the quality of code generated by AI tools used by developers.
