Voice Actor: CX Agent Voice Cloning (Australian English)

Record an expressive AI voice

You'll contribute Australian English recordings to train and evaluate text to speech systems for a research lab. The work suits experienced voice actors, narrators and broadcasters who can maintain clean, consistent delivery across varied scripts.

Your recordings are restricted to the client's internal customer experience (CX) AI agent. Voice cloning may be part of this use, so participation requires your comfort with having your voice cloned for that agent; recordings will not be sold, licensed or reused for another product, dataset or purpose.

Recording work

• Read conversational, narrative, instructional and other scripts into high quality voice samples.
• Keep the speech clear and expressive, controlling pronunciation, pace and tone so delivery feels natural.
• Match your voice, accent and performance consistently across sessions.
• Follow the specified environment, microphone configuration and audio file requirements.
• When requested, record extra takes that vary emotion, emphasis or performance style.

What you'll need

• Native English with an authentic Australian accent. You must currently live in Australia.
• A demonstrated background in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting or broadcasting.
• A professional or near professional setup, including a good microphone, quiet recording space and pop filter.
• Confident diction, intonation and emotional expression, along with accurate script reading that still sounds conversational.
• Dependable weekly availability. Plan for 5 to 10 hours a week throughout the project.

Helpful experience

Prior recording for TTS, audiobooks, interactive voice response systems or AI voice datasets is valued. Familiarity with Audacity, Adobe Audition or Reaper is useful, as is moving between conversational, corporate, energetic and calm vocal styles.
