Remote Czech and English language projects

Contribute to language data work for AI through a freelance commercial contract. Tasks are completed remotely in an online workspace that is accessible around the clock.

The projects value a proactive approach, collaboration, empathy, integrity, and willingness to learn. Work can draw on several kinds of linguistic judgment rather than a single fixed task type.

Possible assignments

• Classify, annotate, or correct language data.
• Transcribe recordings and evaluate submitted material.
• Take part in conversational interactions or record your voice.
• Create content and adapt it for a different language or locale.
• Validate audio, video, images, sentences, or individual words.

Language and working skills

You need fluent Czech and English, including accurate listening comprehension and writing without spelling errors. Basic computer skills are also required.

Experience in computational linguistics, corpus analysis, language data annotation, or training large language models is useful but optional. Careful attention to small details is also preferred.

Equipment and connection

Your computer must have at least 4GB of RAM, a microphone, and a webcam. It must run Windows 10 or later, or macOS 13 Ventura or later, with all operating system updates installed and continued support from the system vendor.

You also need:

• A reliable internet connection and headphones.
• A secure internet connection protected by a strong password.
• An Android mobile phone when participating in audio collection projects.

Tablets and iOS devices are not supported. The Android phone requirement applies specifically to audio collection, alongside the computer requirements for participation.

Qualification process

After an application is submitted, qualification tests are sent by email. These assessments must be completed to progress, so check both your inbox and spam folder for the instructions.

Information or documents may be requested to verify identity and qualifications. AI systems may be used to assess submitted tests, such as transcription samples.
