Corporate Finance & Financial Modeling Expert

The work

Create realistic finance environments and professional deliverables to evaluate AI agents. This remote contract needs experienced financial modelers who can work with agentic tools and independently verify the resulting analyses and supporting materials.

• Assemble business context, financial data, reference documents and working files into authentic finance environments.
• Design tasks with multiple steps across FP&A, corporate finance, valuation, forecasting and modeling.
• Work with AI agents to produce models, analyses and other professional deliverables.
• Create task instructions and objective assessment criteria, checking the quality of the resulting work yourself.

Experience and skills

• At least five years of professional FP&A, corporate finance, valuation or modeling experience is required.
• Direct responsibility for substantive models, analyses and business deliverables.
• Practical experience completing meaningful work with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Claude Cowork or similar agentic tools; general chatbot use does not meet this requirement.
• Preferred experience includes a leading bank, private equity firm or Fortune 500 finance or corporate development team.
• Transaction analysis, junior staff training, review standards and internal playbook development are useful.
• Prior AI evaluation or benchmark work is welcome, as is availability above 20 hours weekly.

Working arrangements

US and Canadian candidates are preferred, with the UK and Latin America also considered. The stated rate is $60 to $120 per hour, paid by task.

At least 10 hours per week are required and 20 or more are preferred. Initial environment setup is estimated at 15 hours, followed by roughly three hours per task; both estimates include agent execution.

Selection includes screening questions, an AI interview, profile review and onboarding.
