The work

Help AI systems understand property losses through careful evidence review and restoration analysis. This contract project draws on experienced adjusting and estimating judgment; no previous AI work is needed.

• Assess digital loss photographs, inspection records, restoration estimates and insurance policy documents.
• Prepare supported coverage conclusions and estimate reviews at a professional desk adjusting or restoration estimating standard.
• Check restoration scope and pricing in Xactimate or comparable software.
• Identify causation, policy issues and other decisive factors in flood, wildfire and other property claims.
• Explain methods, findings and supporting reasons in concise written reports.
• Clarify deliverable requirements with coordinators, respond to feedback and offer specialist observations to improve AI workflows.

Experience and skills

• Preferred contributors have at least five years in property desk adjusting, coverage review or restoration estimating.
• Detailed familiarity with Xactimate and restoration cost development.
• Experience documenting difficult losses, particularly flood and wildfire claims.
• Sound knowledge of policy coverage application and established property claim practices.
• Clear written and spoken explanations of technical findings for different audiences.
• Current state adjuster licensing is a strong advantage.
• Experience working independently and remotely in insurance or restoration is useful.

Working arrangements

The remote engagement is open globally and involves about 10 hours weekly. Choose the days and hours that suit you, including weekends.
