Atmospheric science evaluation

Qualifications

A master's or PhD in Atmospheric Science, Climate Science, Environmental Science, or a closely related area is required. You need substantial expertise in at least one of climate modeling, atmospheric dynamics, ecology, or sustainability science.

Proficiency in Python or R for analysis or scientific computation is essential. Fluent English, clear scientific writing, careful review, and the ability to work independently are also required.

Useful experience

Annotation, data quality assessment, and AI or ML research workflows are relevant. Numerical modeling, remote sensing, environmental data analysis, scientific benchmarking, and work connecting research with applied technology are helpful backgrounds.

Contract scope

This remote hourly contract offers flexible scheduling for 10 to 40 hours weekly. It is suited to researchers, postdocs, and scientists interested in applying their expertise to AI, with possible continued work or extension as projects develop.
