Biochemistry evaluation

Develop demanding scientific material and assess AI reasoning across advanced biochemistry, including protein folding and metabolic flux analysis.

• Create questions in nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, enzyme kinetics, and drug-target interactions.
• Write precise technical solutions with justified steps that serve as reference answers.
• Audit generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical derivations for scientific validity.
• Detect mistakes in stoichiometry, stereochemistry, or the application of enzyme kinetics and explain the corrections.

Required expertise

You must have completed a PhD, or be in its final stages, in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related area. Strong foundational knowledge is needed in fields such as structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, bioinformatics, or molecular genetics.

You should communicate biological and chemical concepts accurately and concisely. Reviewing equations, molecular diagrams, reaction mechanisms, and experimental protocols requires exceptional precision.

Helpful experience

Annotation, quality evaluation, and scientific review experience are useful. Familiarity with computational tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST is welcome, as is scientific writing, peer review, or technical editing experience.

Prior AI work is not required, and support is provided to help contributors become familiar with the work.

Terms

This hourly contract is fully remote with flexible scheduling for 10 to 40 hours per week. Assignments match advanced scientific expertise and involve international collaboration, with possible further work or a contract extension.
