Voice listening assignment

Listen to voices produced with text to speech technology and complete a questionnaire. For each voice, choose the name you prefer and explain the reasoning behind your choice.

The project suits someone who enjoys storytelling and listening to audiobooks. Participation is entirely remote from home, and the assignment is expected to take approximately 1 hour.

Participant requirements

• Live in the United States and speak English at native level.
• Write clearly, with strong grammar and spelling.
• Have an interest in audiobooks and attentive voice listening.
• Writing or content creation experience is helpful. Published books on Audible or other services, or strong writing samples in relevant genres, receive particular preference.

Compensation and review

The payment is $50 for the complete task once it has been accepted. A quality team checks submissions and provides feedback after the review; payment requires completion of the full assignment.

Available payment methods are PayPal, check and an electronic gift card. PayPal or check payments are expected within 10 to 15 business days after acceptance, while electronic gift cards are expected by email within 7 to 10 business days.

Electronic gift cards are delivered by email, so both the inbox and spam folder should be monitored. Reward redemption may offer monetary options such as Venmo, PayPal or bank transfer, and applicable fees should be checked before redemption.

Registration and data

Participation includes completing a registration form. New contributors are guided through account creation, while existing contributors can sign in to register for the project.

Submitted personal data is described as confidential and will not be used for advertising or distribution.
