Assess generated financial and strategic content against the standards used by investment professionals. Work spans business performance, competitive positioning, and macroeconomic conditions.

• Analyze financial statements, operating drivers, and key business measures.
• Evaluate competitive dynamics and developments within individual sectors.
• Assess how macro trends affect potential investment scenarios.
• Compare written commentary with quantitative evidence for accuracy and consistency.
• Present opportunities, risks, and possible outcomes in a clear, organized format.
• Deliver reasoned conclusions using the frameworks and requirements in each project brief.

Relevant experience

Relevant experience may come from equity analysis or investment research, finance, corporate strategy, or consulting. You should be able to evaluate complex financial and competitive relationships and communicate nuanced conclusions clearly.

The work calls for analytical rigor, attention to detail, and comfort adapting across industries. Independent assignments require reliable delivery without close supervision.

Helpful qualifications

DCF, comparable valuation, precedent transaction, or similar valuation experience is welcome. Sector expertise in areas such as technology, healthcare, industrials, and financials is useful, as is holding the CFA charter or working toward that qualification.

Buy-side, sell-side, or strategy consulting experience is relevant. Exposure to AI tools or financial data services can also help.

Terms

The hourly contract is fully remote, flexible, and organized around projects completed asynchronously. Continued work or an extension may become available as further assignments launch.
