Hospitalist Physician

The work

Contribute hospital medicine expertise to AI training focused on inpatient care and documentation. Review clinical evidence, identify unsupported or inconsistent information and provide clear feedback to improve medical data quality.

• Assess medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes.
• Check whether the underlying record supports clinical claims and other information.
• Review histories of present illness, past medical histories, assessments and treatment plans.
• Apply the supplied review rules consistently across cases.
• Flag omissions, incorrect entries and contradictions.
• Share findings clearly with project colleagues and recommend improvements to model and data quality.

Preferred experience and skills

• Preferred candidates hold an MD or DO and board certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics or Hospital Medicine.
• Current inpatient or hospitalist practice, or experience within the previous two years.
• Strong knowledge of hospital workflows and inpatient documentation.
• Comfort examining raw records and clinical notes with close attention to detail.
• Chart review, documentation improvement, utilization review, medical coding or quality assurance experience is helpful.
• Experience across multiple inpatient services or specialties is an advantage.
