Russian speech recording

Contribute everyday Russian speech to data used for training and evaluating speech recognition systems. This independent contractor assignment can be completed on your own schedule anywhere in Latvia and takes approximately two hours in total, including guideline review.

• Read and record 200 brief scripted prompts through the designated mobile recording app.
• Speak the short everyday commands clearly, using a natural delivery that follows the recording instructions.
• Complete the work on a smartphone that supports the required app.

Participation requirements

You need fluent Russian, current residence in Latvia and a minimum age of 18. A compatible smartphone is required because the assignment, including all prompt recordings, is completed on the device.

Approval and payment

A completed session of 200 prompts is payable only after it passes the quality review. If the assigned session contains fewer prompts, the payment is reduced proportionally to that smaller assignment.

Assignments are offered on a first come, first served basis, subject to demographic quotas. A place is not assured: someone whose participant group is already full may receive no task, even if they meet the language, age and location requirements.
