Description
Legal evaluation opportunities
Contribute transactional experience to legal AI research by comparing generated work and developing realistic tasks with reference answers. This is a standing talent pool for ongoing and upcoming projects, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis and contact when suitable work becomes available.
Typical assignments involve recurring comparisons of two responses and the creation of legal datasets. Work is fully remote, with flexible hours as new assignments arise.
What you'll do
- Compare pairs of responses involving contract drafts, redlines, issue lists, due diligence summaries and deal analyses and explain which is stronger.
- Write concise justifications grounded in the supplied documents and applicable US law.
- Create realistic prompts, fact patterns and model answers from your transactional practice.
- Identify errors, missing information and risky advice in generated legal content.
- Participate in onboarding and calibration sessions.
Required background
- Active bar membership in at least one US state.
- At least three years of US transactional practice, such as M&A, finance, capital markets, commercial contracts or corporate matters.
- A JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Clear writing and close attention to detail.
Preferred experience
At least two years at an AmLaw 100 firm is strongly preferred. Prior legal AI work with the hiring program, data annotation, AI evaluation or legal benchmark experience is also helpful.
A single talent pool application provides consideration for projects as they launch; the timing of work depends on suitable project opportunities.
