Modeling and documentation tasks

• Build and revise three dimensional CAD and BIM models in FreeCAD.
• Handle architectural components, structural elements and IFC files.
• Produce and check BIM models with FreeCAD's dedicated BIM tools.
• Diagnose modeling problems and improve compatibility with IFC.
• Demonstrate advanced BIM operations while explaining each stage of the process.
• Write precise instructions and prompts describing BIM and IFC workflows.

Required capabilities

You need substantial professional experience working directly in FreeCAD, including BIM modeling and the IFC format. A sound grasp of architectural modeling, 3D CAD and BIM workflows, plus the ability to create, alter and validate IFC compatible models, is required.

Access to FreeCAD and screen recording capability are necessary for demonstrating tasks. English must be at B2 level or above, with clear explanations of technical processes.

Helpful additional background

A relevant master's degree or doctorate in architecture, civil engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Other useful experience includes annotation, RLHF or model evaluation; AutoCAD, Revit or other BIM applications; and professional architecture, engineering or construction work.
