Responsibilities

• Review written technical content and AI-generated responses for accuracy and quality.

• Answer electrical engineering questions with clear, well-supported explanations.

• Identify useful reference material relevant to your field.

• Explain the tools, workflows and standards used in everyday professional practice.

• Collaborate with a small group of specialists from other disciplines.

Qualifications

A degree in electrical engineering and a Professional Engineer license in the United States are required. Candidates need at least two years of professional electrical engineering experience; experience spanning areas such as power systems, controls, electronics and signal processing is preferred.

• Familiarity with applicable codes and standards, including NEC or IEEE.

• Experience with tools such as MATLAB, AutoCAD Electrical, SPICE or similar software.

• Professional working English and a United States location.

• Comfort using everyday AI tools such as ChatGPT.

• Technical documentation, specification or training material experience is helpful.

Engagement

The role is fully remote, with a reliable commitment of about 10 hours each week and the possibility of continued or expanded involvement. An employer-of-record partner provides W-2 employment, payroll, benefits and employment administration while contributors work with client teams.
