AI Photo Rater

The work

Contribute original photographs and assess AI generated versions in controlled image evaluation tasks. Explain visual differences clearly to help improve image models. This US remote contract does not require previous AI experience.

• Upload photographs you created for assigned image comparisons.
• Compare human photography with generated versions, identifying inconsistencies, artifacts and other important differences.
• Record detailed observations and useful written feedback.
• Explain technical problems involving lighting, perspective, anatomy or rendering using your visual arts and editing knowledge.
• Keep submitted material private and confidential throughout the project.
• Work with other remote experts to address evaluation goals and technical questions.

Preferred experience and skills

• Preferred expertise includes digital photography, editing, graphic design or related visual arts.
• Excellent written English and the ability to describe complex visual issues accurately.
• A careful eye for subtle technical defects and image discrepancies.
• Experience with AI image generation or comparison projects is helpful.
• Familiarity with editing tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom or GIMP.
• Constructive feedback, self awareness and a collaborative approach to project discussions.

Working arrangements

The engagement is a contractor assignment performed remotely within the United States.
