Employment law evaluation

Legal practitioners assess model reasoning on workplace scenarios for an AI research project. Legal research, case analysis and precise writing inform reviews of employment disputes, workplace investigations and labour matters within the US legal system.

Responsibilities

• Compare two model responses to the same prompt for correctness, factual accuracy and suitability for a client.
• Give the research team written feedback that helps improve model behaviour.
• Attend onboarding office hours and calibration sessions for the specialty.

Required background

• At least 2 years in employment or labour law at a law firm, in house legal department, government agency or labour union.
• A US J.D. or an LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school.
• A US law license, either active or inactive.
• Strong legal research and writing experience, including analysing case law and drafting legal memoranda.
• Precise written communication and sustained attention to detail.

Hours and compensation

The rate is $100 to $150 per hour, with a flexible workload of 6 to 15 hours each week. Work starts immediately, and applications are considered as they arrive.
