Record and evaluate Italian speech

You'll create professional voice recordings and assess AI-generated speech to improve naturalness, expression and clarity. This hourly contract is fully remote, and no previous AI background is needed.

• Record clear, high-quality Italian samples from supplied scripts and prompts.
• Evaluate generated speech for natural delivery, pronunciation, rhythm, tone and expressiveness.
• Explain how synthetic speech could improve through specific, constructive feedback.
• Revise scripts when needed so the language flows naturally and is straightforward to perform.
• Complete assignments independently on an asynchronous schedule.

Voice and recording requirements

Fluent Italian and strong natural spoken expression are required, together with experience in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing or a similar field. You must own a high-quality microphone and have access to a quiet, controlled recording space.

Your performances should remain articulate, engaging and expressive across the requested delivery styles. A careful ear for pronunciation, cadence, tone and overall clarity is important when evaluating audio quality.

Helpful background

Helpful experience includes studio recording or remote voice production, Italian regional accents and dialects, broadcasting, theatre, film dubbing and commercial voice work. Previous audio review or quality assurance work is also valued.

Contract and usage

The work is an hourly freelance contract with flexible scheduling, allowing you to manage recordings and reviews on your own timetable. It supports AI speech development and does not include voice cloning.

The contribution combines recorded human performances with evaluation of generated audio, helping researchers improve how AI communicates naturally in Italian.
