The work

Author and review quantitative finance tasks that assess AI performance. Build original problems from financial visuals, write reference solutions and apply structured checks to ensure technical quality.

• Develop and annotate tasks based on payoff diagrams, risk charts, return distributions and time series plots.
• Write clear reference solutions explaining each reasoning step.
• Review submissions against organized quality criteria.

Experience and skills

• Qualify through a PhD in finance, financial economics or mathematical finance; an MS in quantitative finance or financial engineering plus three years of relevant buy side, sell side or research work; or a finance, math or economics bachelor’s degree plus five years of applied quantitative finance, trading or risk experience.
• Working fluency in at least two of asset pricing, derivatives, stochastic calculus, risk management and portfolio theory.
• Confidence interpreting financial visualizations and communicating technical reasoning clearly.

Working arrangements

Compensation starts at $115 per hour. Work is remote and part time, at about 20 hours weekly on a flexible schedule. Strong quality and throughput can lead to promotion opportunities.
