Potential assignments

• Build modeling problems from systems you have shipped. Include the data, objective, constraints, and reference answer for grading.
• Review AI training and evaluation code. Check loss-objective alignment, evaluation-set leakage, and whether ablations support their claimed conclusions.
• Flag approaches that train successfully but fail in production because of distribution shift, label noise, or metrics that reward the wrong behavior. Past projects in this field have posted or paid $70 to $120 an hour. Rates are set separately for each project by scope and depth.

• Professional experience training, evaluating, or deploying machine learning systems.
• Explain technical decisions and reasoning clearly in writing.
• Handle ambiguous tasks and flag instructions that need clarification. Having deployed models to real users and addressed the resulting issues matters more than where you trained.
