Help researchers improve model reasoning about business strategy, organizational structure and executive decisions. The project draws on work in corporate strategy, operational improvement, diligence, transformation and growth planning.

Evaluation and task development

• Assess strategic frameworks, market estimates, competitor analysis, operational diagnoses and recommendations for executives.
• Create cases based on interviews, client workshops, hypothesis driven analysis, workstream planning and steering committee presentations.
• Annotate, label and validate examples involving market entry, cost transformation, integration after a merger or organizational redesign.
• Give structured feedback on financial analysis, executive communication and methods such as Porter’s frameworks, MECE organization and issue trees.
• Collaborate asynchronously with researchers to improve the criteria used to assess business strategy reasoning.

Experience and skills

At least 3 years at a management consulting firm is required, including major strategy firms, Big Four advisory practices, other established consultancies or specialist boutiques. Relevant expertise includes corporate strategy and growth, operations or supply chain, organization and change, M&A diligence and integration, or public sector and social impact consulting.

An MBA or other advanced degree is helpful. Strong analytical reasoning, structured problem solving, careful writing and attention to detail are necessary, together with the ability to convert professional workflows into clear evaluation tasks.
