Day-to-day

• Build, analyze, and refine constructed languages (conlangs) across diverse projects and AI applications.
• Deliver expert written and verbal feedback on language use and translation tasks to ensure linguistic accuracy.
• Edit and proofread conlang materials, ensuring clarity, consistency, and fidelity to language rules.
• Translate between conlang and natural languages as needed for project requirements.
• Work with AI developers and linguists to train and evaluate language models for conlang proficiency.
• Document language rules, grammar, and usage to support training materials and future team members.
• Support creative brainstorming and problem-solving sessions related to linguistic challenges.

You bring

• Demonstrated fluency and expertise in one or more constructed languages (conlangs).
• Strong foundation in linguistics, with the ability to explain complex language features.
• Demonstrated background in translating, editing, and writing in constructed languages.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
• Ability to document language structures and processes clearly and efficiently.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and proactive in addressing unique linguistic tasks.

Helpful background
