Playwright / Screenwriter – EQ & Dialogue Annotator

Looking for experienced playwrights, screenwriters, and dialogue specialists to join Project TOM — a high-level Emotional Intelligence (EQ) annotation project evaluating AI model reasoning in complex interpersonal scenarios.

What you’ll do:

• Inhabit characters in simulated role-play scenarios and evaluate whether AI-generated dialogue and behavior reflects authentic, high-EQ decision-making

• Assess AI model responses across 7 Theory of Mind (ToM) dimensions: Intentions, Emotions, Desires, Percepts, Knowledge, Beliefs, and Non-literal Communication (Subtext)

• Compare two AI model outputs (Model A vs. Model B) and select the preferred response with a written rationale (~50 words per dimension)

• Evaluate the quality of Social Signaling — whether character actions serve as meaningful external manifestations of psychological states

• Identify subtext, sarcasm, irony, and cultural nuance (Eastern vs. Western interpersonal dynamics) in dialogue

What we’re looking for:

• Professional experience as a playwright, screenwriter, narrative designer, or dialogue writer

• Strong ability to “inhabit” a character and evaluate strategic interpersonal decisions from within that perspective

• High sensitivity to subtext, non-literal communication, and emotional authenticity in dialogue

• Familiarity with Eastern and Western cultural communication styles

• Remote, flexible schedule | ~1–1.25 hrs per task | Paid hourly

• Pilot phase: 30 entries before full production

• Triple-blind annotation: each task reviewed by 3 independent annotators
