Day-to-day

• Review, edit, and enhance Khmer language content to ensure accuracy, cultural relevance, and clarity.
• Translate written materials between Khmer and English with high precision and contextual understanding.
• Work closely with AI training contributors and linguists to develop top-tier language data sets.
• Analyze linguistic data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver insightful feedback on language tasks to guide ongoing development of AI language models.
• Keep meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Communicate findings, suggestions, and updates with the team through clear written and verbal channels.

You bring

• Native or near-native fluency in Khmer, with a strong command of grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions.
• Demonstrated expertise in editing, proofreading, and written communication in Khmer and English.
• Significant experience in translation, localization, or linguistic data annotation.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure the highest standard of work.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, remote environment.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proactive and collaborative approach.

Helpful background

• Previous experience as an AI language model trainer or linguist.
