Day-to-day

• Examine, edit, and proofread Welsh language content to ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Translate written materials from English to Welsh and vice versa, adhering to project guidelines and deadlines.
• Work with diverse teams to provide linguistic insights and support on Welsh language usage and best practices.
• Contribute to the creation of Welsh language resources, glossaries, and documentation.
• Offer guidance and feedback on tone, style, and appropriateness of Welsh communications.
• Carry out quality assurance on Welsh language projects to uphold consistency and excellence.
• Assist with verbal and written Welsh communications as needed for project success.

You bring

• Native or near-native fluency in Welsh, with excellent command of both written and spoken forms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated background in translation, localization, or content editing in Welsh.
• Strong understanding of Welsh language norms, idioms, and cultural references.
• Able to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating reliability and time management.
• Comfortable collaborating and sharing feedback with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work efficiently and on schedule.

Bonus

• Background in linguistics, language education, or a related field.
• Experience with CAT tools or digital content management systems.
