Location: Remote (Canada, US, and Europe only)

Remote investing role focused on LBO modeling, valuation, investment diligence, and portfolio analysis in support of sophisticated private-equity workflows.

Day-to-day

• Build and improve LBO models, operating cases, and return analyses for a variety of investment opportunities.
• Perform valuation work using DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions tailored to private equity use cases.
• Review financial statements, KPIs, and market trends to support investment decisions.
• Carry out deep-dive diligence on business quality, growth potential, and value-creation levers.
• Stress-test assumptions and model multiple downside and upside cases.
• Evaluate capital-structure alternatives, transaction risks, and deal economics.
• Prepare concise written analyses and present risks and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

You bring

• 3+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong expertise in LBO modeling, valuation, and financial diligence.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and synthesize findings into decision-grade insight.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong judgment in fast-paced, time-sensitive settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and comfort working independently in a remote investment team.

Bonus

• Experience at a private equity firm, top-tier bank, or buy-side investing platform.
• Familiarity with portfolio analysis, investment-committee materials, or underwriting workflows.
• Background in growth equity, hedge funds, or corporate development.
