Day-to-day

• Translate and localize content accurately between Akan and English, maintaining cultural and contextual integrity.
• Edit, proofread, and refine Akan language materials for clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy.
• Train and evaluate AI language models by providing expert linguistic insights and feedback on model outputs.
• Work with AI developers, data scientists, and other language professionals to define language guidelines and best practices.
• Build and curate Akan language datasets for natural language processing applications.
• Ensure the highest standards in written and verbal Akan communication for AI training purposes.
• Support continuous improvement of language resources and contribute to knowledge sharing within the client team.

You bring

• Native or near-native proficiency in Akan, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated experience in translation, linguistic analysis, or language editing involving Akan.
• Strong written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, grammar, and cultural relevance in the Akan language.
