Growth Equity & Venture Financial Modeling Expert

Type: Part-time and Full-time

Location: Remote (US, UK, Canada)

Financial-modeling expert role focused on creating institutional-grade tasks and reference work for AI evaluation, with coverage across investment banking, private equity, growth equity, and venture-style deal analysis.

Day-to-day

• Design and develop high-quality financial-modeling tasks based on real transaction scenarios.
• Create prompts and execution plans that force first-principles model construction rather than template-driven work.
• Build gold-standard reference models and objective scoring rubrics.
• Review or construct 3-statement models, DCFs, WACC and sensitivity work, LBOs, M&A models, and growth-equity frameworks.
• Cover more complex structures such as recapitalizations, carve-outs, and bespoke transactions.
• Lead diligence analyses, including unit economics, cohort behavior, and margin-driver work.
• Document assumptions, methods, and financial logic clearly for asynchronous collaboration.

You bring

• At least 5 years of recent, hands-on experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, hedge funds, growth venture capital, or corporate development.
• Demonstrated ability to build complex financial models from scratch.
• Strong mastery of scenario and sensitivity analysis and transaction risk/return evaluation.
• Institutional-grade judgment, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication.

Bonus

• Experience across both buy-side and sell-side roles.
• Familiarity with technical content creation, model-evaluation rubrics, or unusual transactions such as carve-outs, spin-offs, and minority deals.
