Day-to-day

• Select and procure grocery products for retail and wholesale resale, ensuring category coverage and market relevance
• Analyze current market trends, consumer demand, and competitor offerings to inform buying decisions
• Negotiate optimal terms and pricing with suppliers to maximize profitability and secure advantageous agreements
• Maintain and manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent stock availability and high-quality standards
• Set and monitor inventory levels, addressing stockouts and overstock risks proactively
• Specialize in specific grocery categories, such as perishable or ambient goods, tailoring strategies to category

• Provide detailed, clear written and verbal communication to inform cross-functional teams and support AI training initiatives
• Proven experience in retail, wholesale, procurement, or grocery buying roles
• Advanced expertise in product selection, negotiation, and purchasing strategies

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Experience managing inventory and working with specialized product categories
