• Vendor Management: Work with procurement to manage cloud contracts, validate invoices, and track commitments

Day-to-day

• Financial Governance: Build and maintain comprehensive cost and pricing models for all services
• Cost Management & Optimization: Proactively monitor, analyze, and implement savings (right-sizing, reservations, removing waste) across the entire hybrid landscape
• Chargeback/Showback: Own the end-to-end billing model to accurately charge back costs to internal government entities
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budget planning, track spend vs. forecast, and flag risks
• Reporting & Analytics: Create dashboards and reports for leadership using PowerBI and native cloud tools
• Policy & Compliance: Establish and enforce FinOps policies (tagging, governance) in line with government financial rules
