Day-to-day

• Translate, proofread, and edit Kurdish text to ensure linguistic accuracy and clarity.
• Deliver expert linguistic analysis to improve AI understanding of the Kurdish language.
• Work with technical teams to annotate and review data for AI model training.
• Build and refine Kurdish language datasets in alignment with project objectives.
• Evaluate and improve the quality of Kurdish language content for various applications.
• Participate in regular team discussions, sharing insights on Kurdish language nuances.
• Act as a cultural and linguistic consultant for AI and language projects.

You bring

• Native or near-native proficiency in Kurdish, with strong written and verbal skills.
• Demonstrated background in translation, editing, and linguistic analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and command of Kurdish language conventions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Kurdish and English.
• Solid understanding of Kurdish dialects and cultural contexts.
• Capability to work autonomously in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Experience with AI training data, annotation, or related linguistic projects is highly valued.

Helpful background

• Background in computational linguistics, natural language processing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with AI-based language tools and platforms.
• Previous experience as an AI training contributor or working on language AI initiatives.
