Day-to-day

• Deliver engaging, standards-based lessons across core subject areas to elementary students in a virtual environment
• Develop and implement creative instructional strategies tailored to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and adapting instruction to ensure continued achievement
• Foster a supportive, positive, and inclusive virtual classroom community that encourages curiosity and respect
• Utilize technology and digital resources to enhance learning outcomes and classroom collaboration
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues through clear, consistent written and verbal channels
• Participate in professional development opportunities to remain current with best practices in remote education and pedagogy

You bring

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as an elementary school teacher (this is the #1 criterion for consideration)
• Strong teaching skills with a proven record of student engagement and academic progress
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, critical for remote collaboration and instruction
• Demonstrated ability to create a motivating, inclusive, and adaptable online learning environment
• Proficiency with educational technology platforms and online teaching tools
• Strong organizational and classroom management abilities
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Elementary Education or a related field
